Our Legacy of Service The Maryland Lifetime Service Award

M. Hall Worthington, Jr.

Hall joined the Maryland Society in 1994 as a member of the John Paul Jones Chapter and has been a member in good standing for 28 years.

He started as John Paul Jones Assistant Secretary before accepting the role as Maryland 3rd Vice President in 1997.

Because of the untimely passing of President William Wakefield, Hall served the remainder of his term in 2000 and his full term as Maryland’s 78th President in 2001.

He served several years as Trustee and Alternate Trustee and became Vice President General of the Mid Atlantic District in 2007.  He served several years as National Chairman of the Military Order of World Wars before receiving his Minuteman Award in 2010.
